  16. The Extensis CD includes demonstration versions of:
  17. • DrawTools 1.0 — a collection of color, moving, and shaping plug-ins for Adobe Illustrator and
  18.    Macromedia FreeHand.
  19. • Intellihance 2.0 — an intelligent photo-correction plug-in for Adobe Photoshop. 
  20. • PageTools 2.0 Macintosh — a collection of plug-ins for Adobe PageMaker 5.0 or 6.0.
  21. • PageTools 2.0 Windows — a collection of plug-ins for Adobe PageMaker 6.0.
  22. • QX-Tools 2.0 — a collection of XTensions for QuarkXPress 3.32 or later.
  23. • PhotoTools 1.0 — a collection of Plug-ins for Photoshop 3.0.4 or later.
  24. • CyberPress 1.0 — a HTML export XTension for QuarkXPress 3.31 or later.

  30. 2. An explanation of how the demo versions work

  32. QX-Tools 2.0 Demo
  33. All tools function fully for 30 days. After 30 days expires you can continue using QuarkXPress but QX-Tools will no longer function.

  35. Note: QuarkXPress has its own demo mode which alters the documents so you can't open them in the standard version of QuarkXPress. QX-Tools demo does NOT put QuarkXPress into demo mode, meaning the documents you create in QuarkXPress while using QX-Tools will NOT be modified in any way.

  37. PhotoTools 1.0 Demo
  38. All tools function fully for 30 days. After 30 days expires you can continue using Photoshop but PhotoTools will no longer function.

  40. PageTools 2.0 Demo
  41. All tools function fully for 30-minutes. After 30-minutes expires you can continue using PageMaker but PageTools will no longer function. You must quit and re-launch PageMaker if you wish to continue using PageTools. You can do this an unlimited number of times.

  43. DrawTools 1.0 Demo
  44. All tools function fully but you can only use them on documents which contain 10 or fewer objects.  There is no time limit.

  46. Intellihance 2.0 Demo
  47. You can run Intellihance up to 5 times per session. You must quit and re-launch Photoshop if you wish to continue using Intellihance. You can run Intellihance on a total of 30 images before it fully expires.

  49. Extensis Fetch 1.5
  50. Fetch will function fully for 60 days.  After 60 days have elapsed, Fetch will run as a "read only" browser. Any catalog files created during the Demo period can be opened with a personalized version of Fetch.

  52. PhotoNavigator 1.0.1
  53. This Photoshop plug-in allows you to quickly and accurately navigate your way around large images. It works by creating a small floating palette thumbnail of your entire image.  To navigate around in your open document, you simply click with your mouse or drag the positioning rectangle located inside the palette's thumbnail to the area of the image that you want to go. Your larger image will reposition itself accordingly. PhotoNavigator will save you lots of time, especially if you need to work while you are zoomed in at ratios greater than 1:1.

  55. CyberPress 1.0 Demo
  56. All features function for 30 days. All exported items are also tagged with the word Demo.  After 30 days expires you can continue using QuarkXPress but CyberPress will no longer function.

  60. 3. Converting a Demo to a fully functioning version

  62. Each of the demos can be changed into a full-functioning version by providing a valid serial number. To purchase a valid serial number, please call Extensis at 0181-358-6657.

  68. IMPORTANT Note - Please disable any Virus Protection software before installing an Extensis Product.  Disregard the Read Me instruction in each product Installer specifically directing you to restart you Macintosh with no extensions running.  You will need to have your CD-ROM driver loaded in order to read the Extensis Evaluation CD.

  70. To install any program, simply double-click the appropriate installer icon and follow the on-screen installation instructions.

  74. 5. How to use the Acrobat Documents
  75.  
  76. Information regarding the features and functionality of software on this CD is in Acrobat format. The Adobe Acrobat Reader which allows you to view and print these Acrobat documents is also included on this CD. Please print these files and use them for reference when using the software.

  93. Description—Expand your control of colors, and moving and shaping objects with this collection of 17 plug-ins for Illustrator and FreeHand. Extend your color control with editable color ramps, mix and replace colors, convert objects to grayscale, and create duotones and multitones. In addition, you can wrap illustrations around 3D objects and extend your ability to control object positions within and between illustration layers.
